Needed Aid for S.E. Asia Tusnami Disaster

Hello Friends. As all of you already know, a grave disaster struck the people of Southeast Asia yesterday. A "great" earthquake (measured 8.9 on the Richter scale) gave rise to a devastating 40 ft tusnami wave in the Indian Ocean which swept through several countries claiming over 22,000 lives. Survivors are left homeless and hungry while they search for any indications of missing relatives and friends. This catastrophe has converted the affected areas into open playgrounds for disease, decay and erosion. This devastation caused most countries irrepairable damage while erasing other countries entirely. Coasts that were once lined with palm trees and much coveted resorts are now teeming with dead bodies that await their burial or cremation, while their survived family members grieve in the open air, still wondering why or how this all happened. Mainly, the children who are now orphaned and alone. Many of these children roam fearful and confused. Many are in need of medical attention. We may not be able to make up for their loss of family, but we can provide them with the urgent medical care which is needed.
MANY ACCREDITED ORGANIZATIONS HAVE ALREADY SENT AID TO THE EFFECTED REGIONS. FOOD, WATER AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES ARE BEING SHIPPED TO HELP DISASTER VICTIMS.
Given the urgency to treat those who suffered severe injuries and in order to provide proper medical care for children, we would like to make a sizeable donation to the DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS organization. My husband and I feel that with your help, we can make the road to recovery a little easier for the victims of this disaster. Even the smallest of donations can provide some aid to the people of Southeast Asia. We are raising funds in order to send immediate help with providing drinking water, food, blankets, medicines and shelter. With your help this mission can be successful.
They have a long and treacherous road to full recovery, but lets try and send a message of hope that recovery is possible and we can help.
Won't you help? Please donate to this urgent cause. Your contributions will provide the support needed to make this mission a success.
All of the proceeds will go to DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS.

With sincere thanks...

The Balan Family
